Inc. 500 - 2008

For the 2nd consecutive year Heritage Web Solutions has been recognized by Inc. 500 as one of the fastest growing privately owned businesses in the United States.  To be recognized once is remarkable, but to be recognized two consecutive years is extremely rare.

A leader and innovator in website design, Heritage Web Solutions began its meteoric rise from modest beginnings.   In November, 2001 David Aitken, CEO and co-founder of Heritage, began with a “shoe string” budget of $1000.  For $8/hour he hired a part-time marketer who called business owners to set up follow-up sales calls.  David then personally made those follow-up calls.  The company’s first sale was made December 7, 2001.

The night of the first sale David and his brother, Jeremy, worked at their home to build the website.  This established the routine that Heritage Web Solutions would follow for the next several weeks.  David and Jeremy would work their regular day-time jobs and work together nights building websites.

In 2004 the annual revenues of Heritage Web Solutions surpassed the   $1million mark for the first time   Company revenues are currently on pace to exceed $20 million in 2008.  The staff has grown to 200 full-time employees and 300 contract employees.  As reported by WebHosting.Info, Heritage Web Solutions ranks in the top 1% of all hosting companies in the United States. 

The “even though” culture fostered by Heritage Web Solutions has enabled it to achieve this remarkable success.  In the words of David Aitken:  “Our ‘even though’ culture removes any opportunity for our staff to provide excuses associated with not hitting their goals.  We tell them no matter what, we can find a way to solve the problem.  Then our staff knows they can tell us how they accomplished their goals ‘even though’ their challenges could have derailed their projects.”

Inc. 500 - 2007

Inc Magazine released its Inc 500 list and Heritage Web Solutions ranked 22nd on the list, out of over 20 million privately held businesses. They ranked 3rd over all in the category of IT Services and 1st in the State of Utah.

Since its inception in 2001, Heritage Web Solutions has steadily grown in the Internet Technology arena, offering full Internet technology services to the small to medium size businesses. From 2003 through 2006, they have grown at a rate of 3,443 percent.
